We started business life as Swanbarton Consultants but we changed our name when we changed our status to that of a limited company. Swanbarton comes from the name of the lane where our business started.

A “barton” is an old English word for an enclosure where sheep are kept overnight, perhaps on their way to market. The Swan was a local public house, where no doubt the shepherd would have quenched his thirst. Our offices are now a short bicycle ride away.
